LEWISVILLE, Texas (1080 KRLD) - Police in Lewisville are hoping pictures, a plea for help and some cash will help find the men who tried to hold up a Wing Stop restaurant last weekend.

The holdup Saturday night failed when the restaurant manager had his own gun and shot at the two men who tried to rob the employees of the Wing Stop at Business 121 between Corporate and Valley View.

But before the manager pulled his gun, one of the robbers fired at him.

Lewisville Police Detective Lieutenant Scott Haynes says there is only vague information about the bandits.

"One suspect was wearing a black hoodie with his face covered," said Detective Haynes. "The other was wearing a grey hoodie with his face covered."

Police are asking if  anyone who saw men wearing similar clothes in that area Saturday night around 11:00pm will give them a call.
