FLOWER MOUND (AP) - North Texas police are searching for a man they believe is responsible for burglarizing parked cars at gyms in at least five communities.

Flower Mound police say the man will look for women who enter a fitness center with no purse or bag. They say he will break a vehicle's window and search for a purse or other valuables.

Police say he immediately uses credit cards he finds before the accounts can be closed.

Capt. Wess Griffin tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that detectives think he has committed car break-ins at gyms in Colleyville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Plano and Southlake since September.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Flower Mound Police Department.
