Police Investigating After Newborn Baby Boy Found In Dumpster In Arlington

ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) — Police are investigating after they found a newborn baby boy inside a dumpster in Arlington Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the call at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Tan Oak Lane, after a woman found the newborn while taking out her trash.

First responders had to initially perform CPR on the child — who was believed to only be a few hours old at the time — before transferring him to a local hospital. He is expected to be OK and is being cared for at this time.
