DALLAS (CBS 11 NEWS) - Is one man behind a rash of drug overdoses in downtown Dallas?

CBS 11 News has learned of at least 10 more K2 overdoses this week alone and sources say authorities have their eye on a man who may be supplying a lot of those users.

Officials with Dallas Fire-Rescue say the department has responded to more than 200 overdoses in downtown since the beginning of December.

Drug counselors believe there's a reason so many are using the dangerous alternative to marijuana.

Collin County Juvenile Probation Officer and Substance Abuse Counselor Grace Raulston said, "Downtown Dallas area probably theres high population of people on probation probably for possession of marijuana and they're probably trying to beat out the drug test."

Dallas police tell us they are working undercover to address the problem.
