Police Arrest 24-Year-Old For Soliciting Child Online For Sex

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Investigators with the Dallas Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Squad (ICAC) have arrested a 24-year-old man for using the internet to solicit sex from an underage girl.
Detectives began looking into the actions of Gerson Gonzalez-Tovar after receiving information he was using a social networking website to solicit sex from a 13-year-old.
Gonzalez-Tovar actually made arrangements to meet the girl to have in sex. Officers arrested him, in the 7800 block of Spring Valley, when he arrived to pick the girl up.
Gonzalez-Tovar has been charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor. He remains in the in Lew Sterrett Jail. No bond has been set.
Police are now asking that anyone with information about Gonzalez-Tovar or who may have encountered him contact ICAC at 214-671-3698.
