DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Papa John's says it's giving back to support area tornado victims.

On Wednesday, January 6, Twenty-five percent of sales on Give Back Day will be donated to the Salvation Army DFW Metroplex.

The Salvation Army will use 100 percent of the donation to provide food, water and other supplies to those who have been touched by the disaster.

"It's a sad contrast to see families who have lost everything during this celebratory time of year, but this season of giving is the ideal time for us to tap in to our spirit of generosity to help people get back on their feet," said Steve McNeil, vice president of operations at Papa John's. "I'm pleased to work alongside my friends and colleagues at Papa John's who didn't hesitate to offer a portion of sales to help those in need."
