Peppa Pig Theme Park brings kid-friendly adventures to North Texas
Parents and children are in for a treat with the opening of a Peppa Pig theme park in North Texas.
Following the success of the first location in Florida, Merlin Entertainments has opened the gates to Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas-Fort Worth to North Richland Hills.
The park features five rides, nine play areas, interactive shows and family-friendly dining — all designed specifically for children up to age six, according to a news release.
"It's really pulling in the whole Metroplex," said North Richland Hills mayor Jack McCarty. "I think it's going to make it a destination place for kids that are especially for kids targeting this age, which is really what you don't see anywhere. There's really not something like this."
The theme park, which opened on Saturday, anticipates millions of visitors in its first few years and promises to create lasting memories for children and families across North Texas.
