COLLEGE STATION (AP) - Quarterback Trevor Knight has chosen to use his final year of NCAA eligibility to play at Texas A&M after graduating from the Oklahoma.

Knight went to high school in San Antonio, Texas, before enrolling at Oklahoma and redshirting in 2012. He was the MVP of the Sugar Bowl win against Alabama following the 2013 regular season and was an Academic All-Big 12 selection in 2014.

He played in six games this past season and graduated with a finance degree from Oklahoma in December.

"I appreciate the opportunity Coach Sumlin and his staff have afforded me and I look forward to making my last year of eligibility a memorable one," Knight said in a statement. "I am thankful to Coach Stoops and all of the people at OU for their help and support through the years."
