DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM)  - More demonstrations were held in North Texas on Saturday to protest a New York grand jury's decision not to indict an officer whose choke hold led to an unarmed black man's death.

In Arlington nearly a 100 protestors marched to the Arlington Police Department.

Some held signs while others held their hands up, a gesture of solidarity with the Ferguson protesters.

"Police are out of control," shouted Kory Watkins to the crowd of protestors. "They have lost their ways."

There were no incidents of violence or reports of any arrests at the protest.

In Dallas, a small group of 13 held a "die-in" in front of City Hall. It was part of a larger nation-wide "die-in" demonstration.

"All of that is going on in Ferguson, those elements are happening right here in Dallas," said Pastor Freddy Haynes Pastor Freddy Haynes, who participated in the "die-in." "So if a tipping point hits, it can happen right here. So we're saying before we reach that tipping point let's come together as a community and do something different."

Haynes said the relations between the African-American community and the Dallas police department is getting better but "needs to get a whole lot better."

Haynes will be calling on churches to stand-up and join in a "kneel-in" for justice. He will announce the details of the demonstration on Sunday at Friendship West Baptist Church.
