North Richland Hills Church Involved In Sexual Misconduct Investigation

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in North Richland Hills said there is an ongoing sexual misconduct investigation involving children at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

According to police, three allegations of sexual misconduct were brought up and involved a church volunteer.

Two incidents happened in North Richland Hills and one in Colleyville, and all three involved the same person.

The allegations were reported to police about ten days ago.

Police said when the offenses occurred, the children were between the ages of five to ten.

The investigation is still in the early stages with no arrests having been made yet.

Police said the church is being very cooperative.

Child Protective Services is also investigating.
