No Suspect Yet In Deadly Hit And Run In Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Grand Prairie Police are investigating a deadly hit and run collision involving a pedestrian early Sunday morning on the southbound Hwy 360 frontage road (Watson Rd) north of Brown Blvd/Avenue K.

Police say Dennis Lamb, 23, of Southaven, MS, was walking southbound on the frontage road when he was struck by a vehicle. Lamb was not discovered for approximately an hour when he was noticed by a passing motorist lying on the side of the road at about 6:00 a.m.

An ambulance rushed Lamb to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators have no description of the vehicle that struck Lamb. Anyone with information can contact Grand Prairie Police Traffic Investigations at (972) 237-8805.

This is the 6th traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
