TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A Northwest ISD student will not face any charges for a story he wrote and posted about torturing and killing students.

The Tarrant County DA's office says the story from the Tidwell Middle School eighth grader didn't break any laws.

The following is the full statement issued from Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney Sharen Wilson:

"The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office has reviewed the evidence regarding the blog of a student at Tidwell Middle School, in the Northwest ISD.
Although the blog in question contains many disturbing, graphic and offensive descriptions of violence, it does not meet the legal requirements for a charge of criminal or delinquent conduct under Texas law."

Parents have petitioned Northwest ISD to remove the student from the classroom.
