Nacogdoches Crash Kills Three College Students, 2 From North Texas

EAST TEXAS (1080 KRLD) - A fiery crash in Nacogdoches has killed three college students, two of them were from North Texas.

A Memorial Day crash near the Stephen F. Austin campus was a bad one.

According to police, a car veered out of control, smashed into some trees and exploded in flames.

Three SFA students died including Geena Zarick who attended Flower Mound High School and Ray Williams who was from Burleson.

The driver, a Harris County man, also died while a fourth passenger, Red Oak resident Trent Haynes is in serious condition.

Police are still investigating and have not released details on the reason for the crash.
