GRANBURY (CBSDFW.COM) — The mother of a 3-year-old who drowned at Lake Granbury is now facing drug charges.

Police arrested Azaria Thacker last night for possession of a controlled substance. She has not been accused of anything directly tied to the drowning.

Thacker faced arraignment this morning -- and bonded out.

The babysitter, 18-year-old Briana Delbridge - is charged with child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators say Delbridge was probably high while she was supposed to be watching two toddlers yesterday morning.

Authorities began the search Friday when dispatchers received a call about a 1-year-old girl that had been found in an unincorporated part of Hood County.

Just over an hour later, the boy was found by Lake Granbury, unresponsive. He was declared dead at a nearby hospital.
