DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - In 1970, the Dallas Cowboys finally broke through by advancing to the Super Bowl against the Baltimore Colts. But the team's first appearance in the championship game was derailed by a Jim O'Brien field goal.

While the Cowboys lost Super Bowl V by a score of 16-13 to the Colts, what makes that game so unique is that Cowboys linebacker Chuck Howley was named the Most Valuable Player of the game.

Howley remains the only player in NFL history to win the Super Bowl MVP award despite being on a losing team.
