DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Cowboys made the most of their first draft pick in franchise history.

In 1961, Dallas drafted Bob Lilly out of Texas Christian University. By the time that he finished his 14-year career, Lilly was known as 'Mr. Cowboy.'

For good reason.

Lilly became the first player inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor in 1975. He was also the first member of the Cowboys to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.

With a career of honors that include a team record 11 Pro Bowl selections, seven All-Pro honors and being named NFL Rookie of the Year in 1961, the drafting of Bob Lilly is the 25th greatest moment in Cowboys history.
