Mild Weather Sticking Around for the Weekend

Temperatures for the first day of August have certainly been on the cool side, with readings in the upper 70s to lower 80s this afternoon.  Saturday will feature a bit warmer weather, with a little more sunshine.  But 89° for a high is still below normal for early August (normal high is 97°)

The upper level wind flow will favor these relatively mild temps through the weekend into early next week.  Our winds will have a northerly component to them, with will help keep temperatures from soaring.

By the middle of next, the upper level high will build back over Texas, which means we wake up from our cool dreams and get back to a summer reality.

So enjoy the weather while you can.  By this time next week, the only outdoor enjoyment will come with a swimming pool or refreshing lake.
