MedStar Seeking Participants For Home For The Holiday Event

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - If you know someone who would like to spend a few hours on Thanksgiving Day with their friends or family, but needs medical support to be able to do so, MedStar is looking to help out.
MedStar is offering to take one or two community members home for the holiday to share in the traditional experiences of Thanksgiving.
Those chosen will be picked up at their current residence in an ambulance, and taken to the family member or friend's home of their choice, to partake in traditional holiday festivities for a few hours.

Nomination deadline is November, Monday 16th.
Participation Guidelines:
· Date of event will be Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, exact time to be determined
· Child and parents should live, or be temporarily residing in the MedStar service area
o People in a hospital, or other medical facility are eligible. We will coordinate with the facility.
· Participant and family should be willing to share their experience with media partners and sign a photo release
· No age restrictions
· MedStar shall make the final determination of clinical appropriateness for participation
