Massive Backup On I-30 Westbound In Rowlett After Police Chase Ends When Minivan Crashes

ROWLETT, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A police chase ended around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 5, at I-30 and Dalrock Road in Rowlett causing a massive backup on the westbound side of the interstate.
Hunt County authorities chased the suspect until the driver crashed the minivan into a barrier wall.
The suspect is now in custody.
No details have been released on what led up to the chase.
