WASHINGTON (CBSDFW) - Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has taken Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to task on his economic plan.

In an interview conducted Friday, Trump was asked about Cuban's opinion of his economic plan? Cuban told Fox News recently that if Trump's plan went through there's going to be a market selloff.

"The problem with Mark, he is not smart enough to understand what we are doing," Trump said.

When Cuban learned of Trump's comments Friday, he went to twitter to offer the presidential candidate $10 million to the charity of his choice (in a later tweet he said he could keep all of the money for himself) in exchange for a one on one interview about his policies and their substance.

As of now, Trump has yet to respond to Cuban's offer.

Earlier Friday, Trump announced that he believes President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Trump had previously mounted a high profile campaign pushing the president to release his birth certificate to prove he was born in the United States and eligible to hold the office.
