DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man wanted for murder in Dallas has been arrested in Los Angeles Thursday.

U.S. Marshals say they captured Christopher Colbert.

Dallas police say Colbert passed himself off as Ronald Shumway, 57, and sold Shumway's house at 725 N. Winnetka, in North Oak Cliff. Colbert walked away with six-figures in cash.

The new homeowner found Shumway's remains under a concrete slab in the backyard when the new homeowner's began renovations last September.

Colbert, 43, is now awaiting extradition back to Texas.

In February, the Dallas Police Department issued warrants for Colbert for Tampering with Governmental Record, Securing Executing of Document by Deception, and Money Laundering each with a $100,000 bond.
