FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A 35-year-old man stabbed multiple times in the parking lot at Ridgmar Mall died Thursday night, police said.

Witnesses said the stabbing happened right between the Dillard's and Old Navy stores.

Mall workers said they were leaving and noticed the man laying in a pool of blood.  They said he was not breathing.

One witness said the victim had shopping bags at his feet.  It is unknown if the victim knew his attacker.

MedStar EMS responded to the scene and performed CPR on the victim in the parking lot, before transporting him to Harris Hospital, where he later died.

Early this morning police said they had identified "a person of interest" but that no arrests had been made.
