Man Sentenced To 35 Years For Sexually Abusing 9-Year-Old

ANNA (CBSDFW.COM) – A jury sentenced Cody Srader of Anna to 35 years in prison without the possibility of parole for continuous sexual abuse of a child.
The 44-year-old started molesting a girl when she was 9-years-old. He even threatened to
hurt her if she ever told anyone about the sexual abuse.
During the last incident, Srader gave the victim a drink that made her dizzy and then molested her. The victim escaped later that day and told a family member of the abuse.
Srader has a lengthy criminal history, including robbery, assault family violence, assault of a public servant and evading arrest.
