DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) Green Line rail is back to normal this morning. Service was interrupted after a man was run over by a train.

Officials say the man was lying on the tracks when he was hit late Wednesday night. The accident happened around 10:30 on Exposition Avenue, just east of Main Street in Deep Ellum.

The victim was reportedly dragged for more than 100 feet before the train was able to stop.

The man, whose name has not been released, was breathing and conscious when he was transported to Baylor Medical Center, but a DART spokesperson said his legs were severely injured. His current condition isn't known.

Green Line service was shut down for about 90 minutes. Service resumed just before midnight.
