Man Killed After Officer-Involved Shooting In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A Fort Worth police officer shot and killed a man Monday after the man allegedly tried to run over another officer with his vehicle, police said.

It happened while narcotics officers were watching a home near Wheaton Drive and Granbury Road.

Police said the suspect struck an officer with his truck, prompting another officer to open fire, fatally wounding the man. He had four active warrants, according to police.

The man's identity has not yet been released.
