Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Child After Tip To Police

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A tip to Dallas Police from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children resulted in an arrest on sexual assault of a child charges.
The Dallas Police Department's Child Exploitation Squad arrested Melvin Perez, 23, Monday, June 13.
Police say Perez was communicating with a 16-year-old boy.
Police say Perez drove from Arkansas to Dallas to meet with the victim, where he allegedly sexually abused him.
Bond is set at $25,000.
