THE COLONY (CBSDFW.COM) - A man who matched the description of a man a woman claimed "placed his hands on her in an offensive and inappropriate manner" was arrested by The Colony Police.
Police said officers were in the area and quickly located Treshawn Jahmal Robinson, 22, who was a short distance away at The Colony Five Star Complex.
Police said around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25, they got a 911 call from a woman saying a man followed her to her apartment located in the 4700 block of Memorial Drive and groped her.
Police said Robinson admitted to grabbing the woman and was then arrested for assault-offensive contact and taken to The Colony Jail.
Police said the day before, on Monday, October 24, officers were called to the Wal-Mart at 4691 State Highway 121 and took a report for a similar call about a woman saying she was grabbed inappropriately and the man ran away.
After checking surveillance footage from cameras, it was determined that the subject in Wal-Mart matched Robinson's description.
The Colony Police Department asks anyone else who's had similar dealings with Robinson to contact their Criminal Investigation Division at 972-625-1887.
