Major crash kills 1, shut down all WB lanes of I-30 Sunday morning

FORT WORTH (CBSNewsTexas.com) - A portion of I-30 shut down early Sunday morning due to a deadly accident. 

Fort Worth police say it happened just before 6 a.m. A vehicle was traveling westbound when it swerved off the freeway, got back on the freeway, crossed all lanes of traffic and ended up getting hit by oncoming vehicles.   

The driver was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Four others involved are OK, MedStar says.

All westbound lanes of I-30 at Eastchase Parkway shut down for hours as a result of the crash.
