KRLD -- If you love everything Texas, then Love and War in Texas is a place you have got to spend some quality time. They have been home to great Texas music and cuisine for 16 years.
"I grew up in Texas and I love Texas first of all, I love food and then I love music. I wanted something that featured all of those things," said owner Tye Phelps.
Love & War in Texas has been home to Rusty Weir, Gary P. Nunn and another Texas artist who actually got her start here.
"Miranda Lambert actually started at Love and War in Plano when she was 14 years old. She'd play one song before an opening act, then she'd play two or three songs and then she'd headline," Tye added.
