LOS ANGELES (AP/105.3 THE FAN) - The Los Angeles Rams have fired head coach Jeff Fisher.

The decision comes a day after the Rams lost to the Falcons, bringing the team's record to 4-9.

Fisher was hired as head coach of the original St. Louis Rams in 2012.

Fisher had a record of 31-45-1 (.409) in nearly five seasons.

In his NFL career, Fisher has lost 165 games — tied with Dan Reeves for the most of any head coach in the league's history.
