Greenville Middle Student Arrested For Threatening School

GREENVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - A 14-year-old Greenville Middle School student is in police custody and will be charged with terroristic threat according to Greenville ISD.

The school district says shortly before 9:00 a.m. Monday, an employee at the school got a phone call with the caller saying they needed to "get the kids out of the school because he was going to shoot up the school."

The employee called police.

Meantime, school resource officers started an investigation and ultimately identified the alleged caller.

The lock-out at the school was lifted at 2:45 p.m.
