Little Elm Boating Accident Throws 6 Into Water, Leaves At Least 1 Dead

DENTON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) — An investigation is underway to figure out what caused a North Texas boating accident that killed at least one person.

The boat crashed into rocks under the FM 720 bridge in Little Elm. All six passengers on board where thrown into the water.

As of pre-dawn August 23, we know one person is dead and one other had to be rushed to the hospital. Their current condition isn't known.

Wardens with Texas Parks and Wildlife are leading the investigation into the crash.
