FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - On Monday morning, crews from the local Habitat for Humanity chapter moved its latest brand-new home out of Sundance Square and into the Hillside/Morningside neighborhood.

CBS11 photojournalist Mike Kinney was onsite and spoke to several people from the organization, which has partnered with XTO Energy to build a house in downtown Fort Worth for the past several years.

"We built this house in five days with 200 XTO employees, over 1,000 hours worth of volunteering went into it," said one volunteer.

Habitat for Humanity draws attention to the plight of those in need of affordable housing in the city by constructing the homes in the middle of downtown.
