81-Year-Old Killed In House Fire In Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - An 81-year-old woman died Monday when her house caught fire.

It happened in the 200 block of NW 14th Street.

A fire department spokesperson says the woman's oxygen tank may have been a factor in the fire.

Neighbors saw the smoke and called 911 around 1:45 p.m..

The caretaker for the woman, who lives alone, had just left.

 Authorities say they found the woman in her bedroom where the fire started.
