Of the 57 years this show has been on network television, 42 of those years have been on CBS including this year. LL Cool J of CBS's NCIS: Los Angeles will host this year's show.

No matter what type of music you like: pop, country, rock, R&B, you name it, you will hear it this Sunday and see the most popular recording artists of our day perform.

In the pop music genre, you will see Sam Smith ("All Of Me"), Usher ("New Flame"), and Pharrell Williams ("Happy").

In the country music area, Miranda Lambert ("Automatic") will appear and this Sunday will be the first performance for Brandy Clark who is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Album for 12 Stories.

Other performers include AC/DC, Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Madonna, and Ed Sheeran.

What also makes the Grammys fun to watch is the musical collaborations between artists.  Rihanna will perform her new single "FourFiveSeconds" with Kanye West and Paul McCartney.

Also scheduled are performances Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga; Hozier and Annie Lennox, Jeesie J and Tom Jones, Maroon 5's  Adam Levine and Gwen Stafani, Beck and Chris Martin, and Mary J. Blige with Sam Smith.

A complete list of nominations can be found here.

There are few other televised musical events that compare to the Grammys. Get ready to be entertained for three and half hours and enjoy the show!

See you next time.
