DALLAS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) -- New in theaters this week we have the sci-fi feature Earth to Echo about a group of friends who discover an alien & try to help him get find a way home.

If Stephen Spielberg made E.T. today, Elliot & his brother (maybe even Gertie) would have smart phones or other recording devices to document every moment. Well, that's the modern twist behind this film.
