Jackknifed Semi Snarls Traffic In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Tuesday afternoon traffic snarled during rainy conditions on northbound I-35 after a semi jackknifed.

The cab of the truck went over the embankment of the highway. The driver was injured and taken to a nearby hospital, according to Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman, Timothy Hardeman.

All lanes of the freeway were closed but later reopened at 4 p.m.

Fort Worth Fire Department crews worked to pulled the truck back onto the roadway to clear the scene.

Traffic was still sluggish at 5 p.m.
