Hugging Dogs Photo Goes Viral, Saves Their Lives

Sometimes, a touching photo can go a long way and in this case, it saved the lives of two shelter dogs.

They were just hours away from being put down.

On Monday, "Angels Among Us Pet Rescue" near Atlanta posted the photo of Kala and Kiera on Facebook.

The canines were seen hugging each other in their kennel at a shelter.

Both dogs appear fearful in the photo. Perhaps they could sense they were to be euthanized that afternoon.

The touching Facebook photo spread quickly and within two hours, the shelter had found a home for both of them!

The shelter posted this photo of the rescued dogs, saying that they are safe and will living together.
