ARGYLE (AP) - A 1,000-pound housebroken bison named Bullet has a new owner and will live about 15 miles from the North Texas home she outgrew.

Karen Schoeve of Argyle on Saturday helped her pet bison get adjusted in a pasture at the animal's new residence in Flower Mound.

Schoeve had advertised Bullet for sale, asking nearly $6,000. She didn't immediately identify the new owner or say how much was paid.

Bullet drew attention as a friendly bison allowed to roam in an out of Schoeve's house in Argyle. Schoeve was looking for a place where Bullet would have a larger pasture.

Bullet will be hanging out with some cattle at her new residence.
