Hood County authorities say escaped inmate Cody Wayne Bedford has been captured
NORTH TEXAS (1080 KRLD) - Hood County authorities are on the hunt for an inmate that escaped from the Granbury jail.
A release from Hood Co. Sheriff Roger Deeds says 34-year old Cody Wayne Bedford escaped early Wednesday morning before sunrise.
Bedford was last seen wearing his black and white striped prison-issued clothing.
Police believed Bedford was headed out of town "as fast as he can."
Bedford was in custody for aggravated assault on a public servant.
