DENTON COUNTY(CBSDFW.COM) - A helicopter has crashed near Robson Ranch in Denton County Wednesday afternoon.

Two people were on board, a student and a trainer, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.  25-year-old instructor, Leslie Hartman and 24-year-old trainee, Michael Morris are both hospitalized.  Morris is in fair condition.  Hartman's condition is unknown at this time.

The Federal Aviation Administration says a small two-person Instrum Helicopter crashed into trees while on a training flight in Argyle.

Denton police say the pair were performing maneuvers when the helicopter lost power.  Hartman took over and tried to land in a pasture but went into the tree line.

The helicopter's owned by Longhorn Helicopters, Inc. Flight School in Denton.  The company says the people in the crash are "okay" but had no further comment.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating.
