DENISON (CBS11) - Part of Highway 75 buckled near Denison in Grayson County Thursday.

The intense heat is being blamed for the damage.

The worst damage was along the shoulder of the southbound lane just south of Highway 84 near Denison High School.

A city spokesperson said the pavement was pushed upward about three feet.

KRLD talked to a Dallas man who said about a dozen cars were damaged with bent axles and flat tires.
