DALLAS (AP) - The college football bowl game based in Dallas is adding honors for the area's first responders.

Organizers of the Heart of Dallas Bowl announced Thursday that they will hold tributes during each quarter of the Dec. 26 game to police, firefighters and paramedics. The bowl will also stage a tailgate for first responders before the game at the Cotton Bowl stadium.

It will offer free tickets to first responders and their families.

This year's game will feature teams from Conference USA and the Big Ten.
