Hawaiian Falls Customers Receiving Bogus Scam Email

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - Customers at several North Texas Hawaiian Falls water parks are getting suspicious e-mails this morning. And the company says they are, in fact, bogus.

On Wednesday night, Hawaiian Falls posted a notice on their website saying a number of customer e-mail addresses had been hacked from a third-party vendor.

The hackers, in turn, sent spam e-mails pretending to be from Hawaiian Falls or American Express.

The company strongly advises you do not open the e-mail or click on any links -- and certainly do not supply any personal information.

Hawaiian Falls also promises that no one's financial information was compromised.
