DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police say someone fired at least one gun shot inside Southwest Center Mall around 12:50 p.m. Friday.

After further investigation, police say it turned out the gun fell from a woman's bag, causing it to accidentally discharge.

Police say it all started when a man inside the mall was "acting strangely."

Officers were talking to him when a woman arrived to pick him up.

Police say the man and woman were leaving the mall when they got into a verbal argument.

The woman swung her purse and a small gun fell out, hit the floor, and went off.

Police say the bullet hit the floor and no one was hurt.
