Group Calling For Irving ISD To Reverse Teen's Suspension

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Concerned parents and community members plan to deliver a petition with 13,000+ signatures to Irving ISD Offices Friday.

Progress Texas says people across the state and hundreds in Irving have signed a petition that says:

Dear Irving Independent School District and MacArthur High School,

Reverse Ahmed Mohamed's suspension, publicly apologize to the Mohamed family, and reevaluate your disciplinary policies.

Being brown is not a crime.
