Grand Prairie Police Chase Ends With Crash

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities in Grand Prairie are investigating a crash following a police chase on Tuesday morning. The incident started at around 10:00 a.m. and may have left at least one person injured.

The suspect was riding a motorcycle. Officials have not said how the chase started, but it ended near the intersection of Highway 360 and Avenue K in Grand Prairie, when the suspect crashed out. The suspect struck the front end of a black car.

Pictures from the scene showed the car's front bumper detached from its body. The driver of that vehicle did not appear to be hurt.

The suspect was taken into custody by police. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but the extent of any possible injuries is not known. The name of the suspect has not been released.
