NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - People with a thirst for mixing their workout with the weekend may appreciate two new 'protein' beers called Brewtein and NutriBeer.

Supplemental Brewing, a fitness-focused brewing company specializing in protein beer created the suds.

The company suggests the beers may take the edge off a painful workout or even motivate people to hit the gym.

One NutriBeer packs 7 grams of protein in the 180-calorie drink.

The company's kickstarter campaign still has 3 weeks to go. Thus far, they have raised a third of their goal.
