IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Gamers are flocking to the Irving Best Buy for the chance to be one of the first to play Nintendo's "Mario Maker" on the Wii U.

Irving's location is one of 100 locations nationwide letting customers play the upcoming game, allowing attendees to build their own 2-D Mario world.  The Wii U GamePad controller allows players to create their own unique levels.

Those who demo the game will receive a "Super Mario Bros." button to commemorate its 30th anniversary.

The event began Wednesday at 4 p.m. and will continue until 9 p.m.  Festivities are also scheduled for Saturday, June 20 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

All gaming fans are encouraged to attend.
