BURLESON (CBSDFW.COM) - Friends and family raised money Thursday night while honoring the memories of two men killed in their Fort Worth neighborhood Sunday.

The memories of Daniel Haros and Philip Evans hang heavy at Dalton's Corner in Burleson.

Police said they were shot to death by neighbor Cary Heath.  There still no word on a motive.

"Everybody loved them, everybody really did," said Kat Norvell who said she grew up with the two men.

They were regulars at the bar but on Thursday, Norvell and others raised money for their funerals.

"They always had a smile on their face and they didn't deserve that," said Norvell.

On Thursday, Heath's wife Tiffany Heath was arrested for tampering with evidence. She has since posted her $5,000 bond and has been released from custody.
